Commercial Real Estate Experience

Carlos Rodriguez Jr., MSIRE, is the Founder and lead appraiser of Virtus Valuation. As a Florida State-Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (License RZ4443), Carlos has over seven years of appraisal experience and nearly ten years of commercial real estate experience.

Prior to founding Virtus Valuation, Carlos served as Senior Appraiser at Integra Realty Resources, one of North America’s leading independent valuation and consulting firms. His appraisal career includes positions at CRE Valuation Services, ACP Appraisals, and Waronker and Rosen. Carlos began his commercial real estate career in brokerage at KW Commercial, gaining market insight and transaction experience. This experience across multiple respected firms has provided him with expertise across diverse property types, valuation assignments, and client needs.

Carlos holds a Master of Science in International Real Estate from Florida International University and is a Candidate for Designation with the Appraisal Institute. He is an active member of the CCIM Florida Chapter – Miami District and previously served on the Board of Directors of the CCIM Miami-Dade District. Fluent in English and Spanish, Carlos serves a diverse client base throughout South Florida.

When he’s not appraising, Carlos enjoys spending time with his wife, dancing salsa, and engaging in philosophical discussions.
